- Yes, if it is your only trump — it is a trump, so it follows a trump lead. And when its printed suit is led it does not count as that suit, so you cannot use it to follow.

- The makers — the partnership that chose trump — took fewer than three tricks. The opponents score 2 points for it.
- What is going alone in euchre?
- A maker who thinks they can take the tricks without help plays alone, and their partner puts their cards down for the hand. Taking all five alone scores 4 points instead of 2.
- What happens if everyone passes twice?
- In the standard game the hand is thrown in and the deal passes on. Many tables play stick the dealer instead: after three passes in the second round, the dealer has to name trump.
- How many points is a game of euchre?
- Ten. One point for making trump and taking three or four tricks, two for all five, four for all five alone, and two to the opponents for a euchre.
