How Shithead is played here

The rules this table deals by. Everybody at the table sees the same lines before the first hand.

  • Three cards face down, three face up on top of them, three in hand. Swap between hand and face-up row before the first card — that is the only say you get about the face-down three.
  • Play a card equal to or higher than the pile, then draw back up to three while the deck lasts. If you cannot play, you pick up the whole pile.
  • A two resets the pile. A three is invisible — the next player answers what is under it. A seven means the next card has to be a seven or lower. A ten burns the pile out of the game, and so does a fourth card of a rank landing on three of its own.
  • Hand gone and deck gone, you play your face-up three. Then the face-down three, blind, one at a time. The last player still holding cards is the shithead.

How it works

  1. Open a table. It gets a short code of its own.
  2. Read the code out, or send the link. Anyone you send it to sits down as a guest, without an account.
  3. Deal once everyone is seated — or give each empty chair a bot and start now.
