How Pai gow poker is played here
The rules this table deals by. Everybody at the table sees the same lines before the first hand.
- Seven cards, split into a five-card hand and a two-card hand. The five must rank higher than the two — setting them the other way round is a foul.
- One joker, and it is not wild. It completes a straight or a flush, and otherwise counts as an ace.
- Win both and you are paid; lose both and the bet is gone; win one and lose one and the bet comes straight back. That last one happens most of the time, which is why a stack lasts all evening.
- The dealer must set their own hand by a printed method, and so may you: the button beside your cards uses the same one.
How it works
- Open a table. It gets a short code of its own.
- Read the code out, or send the link. Anyone you send it to sits down as a guest, without an account.
- Deal once everyone is seated.
Questions about playing Pai gow poker online
- How many can play Pai gow poker online here?
- One is enough, and up to 6 can sit down at the same table. There are no bots here — each of you plays your own hand against the deal.
- Can I play Pai gow poker against the computer?
- No, and it would not help. At Pai gow poker you play the deal rather than the other seats, so a bot beside you would be playing its own hand and you would only be waiting for it.
- Does it cost anything?
- No. Every table here is free, there are no ads, and nothing about you is sold or handed on.
- Do I need an account?
- Only to open a table. Joining one never needs an account — anyone you send the code to sits down as a guest.
- Does Pai gow poker work on a phone?
- Yes. It runs in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer, and there is nothing to install.
