What Spider solitaire is
Two decks, ten columns and no foundations to build up to — you win by assembling eight complete runs from king down to ace inside the tableau itself. Any card may go on one a rank higher, but only a run in a single suit can be moved as a whole, so the challenge is keeping the suits together. When you are stuck, the stock deals a new card onto every column at once. It is played with one, two or four suits, from gentle to very hard.
