Play Skat online

How Skat is played here
The rules this table deals by. Everybody at the table sees the same lines before the first hand.
- Thirty-two cards, ten each and two face down. At a suit game the four jacks are the top trumps and belong to the trump suit rather than their printed one, ranking clubs, spades, hearts, diamonds. At grand only the jacks are trump; at null nothing is.
- You bid a number — what the game you intend to play will be worth. A game's value is a base for the denomination times the run of top trumps you hold or lack, plus one for the game itself.
- The winner of the auction may pick up the two face-down cards and put two back, or play hand without looking and take an extra multiplier for it. Then they announce a suit, grand, or null.
- Sixty-one of the hundred and twenty wins the game's value, and the two cards put back count for you. Falling short loses twice it. Announce a game worth less than you bid and you have overbid and lost, whatever the cards did.
How it works
- Open a table. It gets a short code of its own.
- Read the code out, or send the link. Anyone you send it to sits down as a guest, without an account.
- Deal once everyone is seated — or give each empty chair a bot and start now.
Questions about playing Skat online
- How many can play Skat online here?
- 3 at one table. A bot can take any seat nobody fills, so a game never has to wait for somebody to turn up.
- Can I play Skat against the computer?
- Yes. Give any empty seat a bot and it plays like anyone else at the table, seeing only its own cards.
- Does it cost anything?
- No. Every table here is free, there are no ads, and nothing about you is sold or handed on.
- Do I need an account?
- Only to open a table. Joining one never needs an account — anyone you send the code to sits down as a guest.
- Does Skat work on a phone?
- Yes. It runs in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer, and there is nothing to install.
