How Blackjack is played here

The rules this table deals by. Everybody at the table sees the same lines before the first hand.

  • You are playing the dealer, not each other. Everyone can win the same round.
  • One split a round, and split aces take one card each.

How it works

  1. Open a table. It gets a short code of its own.
  2. Read the code out, or send the link. Anyone you send it to sits down as a guest, without an account.
  3. Deal once everyone is seated.

How multiplayer Blackjack works

Playing Blackjack online with other people, step by step: the code, the seats, the table rules, and what happens when somebody drops out.

Playing blackjack as a group

Multiplayer blackjack is not a game against each other. Everybody at the table plays the same dealer, each with their own chips and their own hand, and several players can win the same round. What you share is the dealer's cards, the pace and the result at the end — who finished with the biggest stack.

The table seats up to seven, and one player is enough to deal, so nobody has to wait for a full table. There are no bots here: a bot would only be one more hand against the dealer to wait for.

Opening the table and inviting friends

The host opens the table, which needs a free account, and shares the six-character code or the link from "Copy link". From a phone, "Challenge a friend" sends the same invitation straight into Messenger, Instagram or any other app you already talk in. Friends who follow it choose a name for the table and sit down as guests, without an account. Everyone who is going to play has to be seated before the first round, because a game in progress cannot be joined.

In the lobby the host chooses the starting chips (100, 200 or 500), the minimum bet (5, 10 or 25), the number of rounds (10, 20 or 40) and whether the dealer draws or stands on soft 17. Everyone sees the choices as they are made.

How a round goes

Bets are taken from everybody at once, so nobody waits for anybody else to decide. The cards are dealt, insurance is offered to everyone if the dealer shows an ace, and then players act one at a time in seat order: hit, stand, double or split. When the last player has finished, the dealer plays its hand and every bet is settled against it.

When the round is paid out, each player presses "Ready for the next round", and the next one is dealt when all of you have. Everybody can see everybody else's cards — at blackjack nothing you hold helps or hurts another player.

Finishing the game

The game lasts the number of rounds the host chose. At the end, whoever has the most chips wins. A player who cannot cover the minimum bet sits out the rounds that are left rather than holding the table up.

Friendly competition works well here: everyone faces the same dealer cards, so the difference between the stacks at the end comes from bets and decisions, not from who got the better opponent.

Staying to the end

Because nobody can play a blackjack seat for somebody else, a player who leaves ends the game for the whole table. That includes a player whose connection drops and who does not come back within twenty-five seconds. So choose a number of rounds everybody has time for, and use the link to come straight back if a page closes by accident.

Playing alone is different: nobody else is waiting, and your seat simply stays where it is until you open the table again. Any table nobody touches for six hours is cleared away.

Questions about playing Blackjack online

How many can play Blackjack online here?
One is enough, and up to 7 can sit down at the same table. There are no bots here — each of you plays your own hand against the deal.
Can I play Blackjack against the computer?
No, and it would not help. At Blackjack you play the deal rather than the other seats, so a bot beside you would be playing its own hand and you would only be waiting for it.
Does it cost anything?
No. Every table here is free, there are no ads, and nothing about you is sold or handed on.
Do I need an account?
Only to open a table. Joining one never needs an account — anyone you send the code to sits down as a guest.
Does Blackjack work on a phone?
Yes. It runs in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer, and there is nothing to install.
