What Baccarat is
Almost nothing is decided by the players. You bet on which of two hands will win, and the drawing rules do the rest. Two hands, player and banker, get two cards each, and the one closer to nine wins. Tens and court cards count nothing, and a total over nine drops its tens digit. You bet on player, banker or a tie, and fixed drawing rules decide whether either hand takes a third card.
